Dr Surleen Kaur

Dr Surleen Kaur is a young clinical embryologist and an internationally recognized scholar with over a decade long experience in the field of reproductive biology. She has handled over 2500 ICSI-cases within a short span of last five years and is professionally authorized by IGenomix to perform PGT trophectoderm biopsy. Currently, she leads a team of embryologists and andro-technicians at Ferticity Fertility Clinics and is responsible for overall lab quality control and management. She gives personal attention to challenging cases like RIF, POR, severe OATs, fertilization failure, onco-patients using advanced techniques like Laser assisted hatching, Morpho-kinetics based embryo selection (Time-laspe), Assisted oocyte activation or sperm motility, HOST-ICSI, Laser-ICSI, Microfluidics, PGT-A/PGT-M, and Ovarian tissue cryopreservation.

 Dr Kaur has published in several international and national peer-reviewed journals and has spoken at international conferences. She has recently submitted a chapter entitled “Blastocyst Vitrification and Warming Protocols” for a book of assisted reproductive medicine by IFS. She is professionally certified by the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). She earned her PhD in Molecular Reproductive Biology from the University of Delhi in 2014. Her research work includes identification of molecular defects in the granulosa cells from women with polycystic ovary syndrome. After completing PhD, she joined NOVA IVI Fertility where she received training in assisted reproductive techniques (ART) as per IVI (Spain) protocols. She is a member of various national and international societies like ASRM, ESHRE, CFAS, IFS, and ISAR. Her main research interests include improving the embryo selection methods and exploring better media composition for in-vitro maturation of oocytes.

Ms. Kirtirupa Nandi

Ms. Kirtirupa Nandi is a practicing clinical embryologist with 5+ years of professional experience. She is currently the Senior Embryologist at Ferticity Fertility Clinics, India. She has observed international laboratory practices at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and Oxford Fertility, UK. She is trained and validated by IVI (Spain) in basic and advanced andrology and embryology protocols, techniques and technologies. She is qualified for performing Ovum pick-up, Denudation, IVF/ICSI, TESA/μ-TESE, Embryo/Oocyte Vitrification, Embryo/Oocyte Thawing, Embryo Transfer, Embryo and Gamete evaluation (including Time-lapse), Laser Assisted Hatching, Assisted Oocyte Activation, Microfluidics, Sperm Vitality, MACS, DFI tests and independently handling the IVF laboratory.

 She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Embryology (University of Oxford, UK) and Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences (University of Sheffield, UK). She is an ASRM (USA) certified Embryologist. She is an active member of prestigious reproductive societies like ESHRE, ASRM and IFS and stays abreast with the evolving good laboratory practices globally. She has previously worked in Nova IVI Fertility and has published original research work in prestigious national and international journals. She has presented a study on ‘demographic and sperm parameters affecting DFI’ nationally and is keenly interested in exploring embryo and gamete viability factors with clinical correlation for better embryo cohort development and selection.

Ms Beena Rawat

Ms. Beena Rawat is working as junior embryologist in Ferticity Fertility Cinics, Ms. Beena Rawat has a practicing experience of almost 3 year’s in the field of ART. She has worked in NOVA IVI. She has completed her Master’s in Clinical Embryology and Pre-implantation genetic Diagnosis from University of Mysore, India and Bachelor degree in Zoology from Delhi, India.

She has expertise in ART, including Ovum pickup (OPU), in-vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), Vitrification and Thawing of Oocytes/Embryos/Blastocyst, TESA/PESA/micro-TESA, Advanced ART techniques like oocyte activation (CA++ ionophore), sperm motility enhancer (Theophylline), sperm sorting techniques (Micro-fluidics & MACS), Laser assisted hatching, intrauterine insemination (IUI) and all Sperm function tests.

She keeps herself updated with the latest technological advancements in medicine and follows modern methods to attain the highest success rate in ART. She has an expertise in Lab quality control and analysis (QA & QC), documentation & maintenance of records, Monthly department auditing and is responsible for overall sterility and aseptic environment of IVF lab. She is a honourable member of European society of human reproduction and embryology (ESHRE).

Ms. Sabina K.

Sabina K. is a seasoned laboratory technologist in the ART industry. She has over 15 years of professional experience in the IVF field. She is currently working as an Andrology Laboratory Technologist at Ferticity Fertility Clinics, Delhi. She holds a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from Institute of Public Health & Hygiene (IPH&H). She performs all andrology laboratory techniques and technologies independently as per the WHO 2010 criteria and protocols. This includes semen analysis and morphology assessment, sperm preparation for IUI, IVF and ICSI, sperm/TESA cryopreservation for ART and fertility preservation, sperm vitality by HOST/Eosin-nigrosin stain, Magnetic activated cell sorting (MACS), DNA fragmentation index test (Sperm chromatin dispersion) and Post coital test (PCT).

 She also specializes in all aspects of pathology laboratory which involves all hormone tests on ELISA reader and VIDAS immunoanalyser. She also performs advanced technique of preparing blood samples of platelets rich plasma (PRP) for intra-uterine and intra-ovarian treatment.

Apart from her practical skills she is also active as a trainer of all theoretical and practical aspects of the Andrology laboratory protocols and techniques. She is a member of ESHRE and has had prior experience of working in several leading IVF hospitals such as Mother and Child Hospital, Nova IVI Fertility and Milann Fertility Center.
